The American holiday of
Thanksgiving falls on the 4th Thursday in November. It’s a great time to get together with family and remember to be thankful for all the good things in our lives – and, of course, eat some delicious food!
Here are some English vocabulary words for traditional Thanksgiving foods:
Gravy is a sauce that is made from the juices released while the meat is cooking.
Stuffing is made with bread and some spices and vegetables; it is used to fill up the inside of the turkey while cooking.
