Suggested study plan for Espresso English courses

There are a lot of courses here at Espresso English, and it’s hard to know where to start!

Although there’s not a specific order, here’s my suggestion.

Begin with:

These are the most essential skills to build a good base in English. You can go one by one (finishing one course completely before continuing to the next one) or if you prefer more variety, you can take turns – do one vocabulary lesson, then the next day one speaking lesson, then the next day one collocations lesson, and repeat like this. It just depends on what you prefer.

Then, continue to:

These will help you make your pronunciation clearer, increase your vocabulary, and avoid errors with the words you already know.

Next, do these:

These courses are more challenging (especially if you use the “fast audio” in the Listening Course) and will teach you grammar in detail, as well as lots of new vocabulary and informal conversational English.

Finally, save these for last:

These are good for more advanced students, after you already have a good foundation.

As for the Business English Course, this can be taken anytime, it just depends on your needs. If you actively need English for your current job, then you should study it earlier in the sequence; however, if Business English isn’t so important for you, then you can leave it until later.

Hope this helps!
